I'm Noticing Some Parts In My Hair Are Getting Wider

Hey all,

Right now I still have thickish hair so I can hide it well, but I've been noticing when I get out of bed in the morning or if I play with my hair enough, there are a bunch of parts and these parts have been getting wider. I know about my hairline situation but my primary concern is thinning. I'm 22, have been dieting for over a year now, and I towel dry my hair. On average, I lose about maybe 15-30 hairs a day and I only notice these hairs in the shower and on my towel. Does anyone have an idea of what kind of thinning or something else I may have? Thanks.

Your hairline seems to be NW2 naturally and still looks reasonably intact, but you are thinning diffusely. Male pattern baldness.

Deep NW2 with some diffuse thinning. You don't necessarily need to have a lot of shedding to get male pattern baldness. Some people tend to thin rather than to shed, and that looks like the case with you. If you want to treat your hair loss I would recommend finasteride as a first line of defense.
