I could use a bit of guidance, please.

Hi, I've noticed my hair has been thinning for the past 4 years now. I'm 24 years old. I'm half white, half Asian, and my hair is crazy thin all on top. It looks better when my hair is a bit longer (>4 inches) & is styled with thinning cream/paste, but I recently cut it short, and it is crazy how thin it looks.

i've been trying to read the forums, but I really have no idea where to start.
-Do I use rogaine, lipogaine, S5 cream?
-Do I derma-roll?
-Should I go to the doctor and ask for finastride?

I'm 24 years old
I workout (both lifting heavy & high intense cardio) 4-5 times a week for an hour+
I take too many showers - at least 2 a day, mainly because of working out.
I was using sulfate free (Awaken line) shampoo & conditioner before I ran out of it... I think switching to another shampoo/conditioner really made it shed badly.
I've also been kind of stressed lately.

I'm kind of lost at the moment, and I'm really struggling with this whole idea of going bald. I am so insecure about it, and could use a little guidance as to how to get started.

Big 3

Finasteride (1mg a day. you need a prescription)
Minoxidil (Rogaine or kirkland brand. you can get it from a local pharmacy or ebay. apply it twice a day)
Nizoral shampoo (from a local pharmacy or ebay. two to three times a week)
You can start all of them at once or use one at a time to see if which one works best. I would go see a doctor though.

THAT's THREE MONTHS of loss?

Are you using roids at all? That will make you lose your hair. I would say if you are stay away from finasteride until all the steroids are completley out of your body.

If you are not using them then yeah try finasteride and see if it works for you with no sides.

No roids at all, ever.

My hair is thin, but when it was longer I could easily style it to make it look thicker, but recently it started looking really flat & thin even while styled, and I thought it was because my hair was so long, so I told my barber to shorten it and I was surprised by how thin it was on top. It was not this thin a year ago, when my hair was this short.

Im asian as well and yes its amazing how thinning just kind of creeps up on you. I remember that just in jan of this year I was perfectly fine with my hair. Then in May I noticed my hair was going. Fast forward to now and I too have major diffuse thinning all over. Been on finasteride for almost 6 months and still no cosmetic difference to speak of yet.
