i've got to say that i am laughing with you and not at you, coz i'm a longterm baldie too......so i know what it's like to go through it.

it's educational also....just discovered this norwood scale thing...i seem to be right off the scale. is there a norwood 99??

i hope the treatments work for you guys....just don't get too disappointed/suicidal if they don't. after all there's an awful lot of bald role models out there past and present.

one moment, are you saying that none of the treatments worked for you?

How long have you been on them?

i tried minoxidil many years ago...zilch

too far gone now to be worth the effort, money and short term (and no doubt yet to be discovered, long term) side effects.

i've lived in baldsville now for many years and whilst it aint great, it's better than despair creek or combover canyon.

in short i live with it. jibes still come in but dont bother me.

in fact, i laugh at myself as well when people have a dig.

when you get to untroubledville twinned with baldsville, who needs potions?

sure i'd like hair but it's nice to have perspective.

good luck to you, my friend though.....maybe see you in baldsville some years down the line?

thank you for the very honest post you've given.
Certainly being a NW5-7 can change things in your life. Hair transplants have come a considerably long way since the old plugs. Although you couldn't expect to have a full head of hair, probably, have you considered perhaps getting transplants on the crown and some on the anterior of your head? You'd have some hair, my friend.

however, for me now...it's either got to be a guaranteed full head of hair or nothing.

i've done all that nonsense of combovers and toppik and hats...and i'm not into those games anymore.

until drug companies guarantee a head of hair...leave me out.

but they're never going to give you that coz there ain't no repeat business in that.

it's always been about money to keep you coming back with your cash.
