I'm Having My Surgery With Dr Richard Keller In 2 Weeks

I wish I could fast forward time about 6 months to see how it looks then. I'm getting 3000-3500 grafts. I'm like an NW2.5 with very thick, wavy hair texture but I have a significant crown situation.


I'm very excited. IMO, Dr Keller is the best surgeon in the country. His results both in terms of hairline and overall density are as good as any I've ever seen.

hair transplants are garbage for people with thin, fine, straight hair

they are gold for balding guys who have thick, coarse, wavy hair like me. You would be hard pressed to find a bad hair transplant with someone with hair characteristics like mine unless the doctor is a hack

my dads side is ALL NW7 by 23...completely bald

my grandpa on my moms side has great hair. He's borderline NW1 to NW2. My uncle is NW2 to NW3 at 54

the front of my hair is ok. the problem is I have like an NW4 crown situation

the big upside for me is i have excellent thick/wavy hair characteristics. even if i lose everything, 2 transplants with say 8000 grafts and 15K hairs will still give me decent hair for a man in his 40s and 50s

I'm sure the results will come out excellent. I have thick, coarse, wiry/wavy hair. I have never seen a bad transplant on someone with my hair type with a halfway competent doctor
