I know it's been the proverbial "just hold on, new treatments are incoming!" pretty much ever since finasteride came on the market 20 years ago and some people unfortunately found it wasn't working for them, but I genuinely believe that there is at least a 'decent' amount of movement occurring now with treatments that are now becoming harnessable depending on how willing you are to buy now from sources that are selling things that are currently not 'officially' recognised as 'recommended treatments'.
Personally finasteride didn't work for me but CB has (which is going to be the third officially recognised hair treatment along with minoxidil & finasteride in a couple of years when it passes the final FDA stages, but you can buy bootlegged adaptions of it now).
Also, in my time researching I've seen people have success with topical seti & darolutamide, just to name a few.
No one treatment works for absolutely every person. That is a fact.
Don't give up yet just because the one you've tried so far hasn't worked for you.
I also think microneedling combined with any of those 3 aforementioned topicals (or others) will potentiate the positive effects of the drugs quite a lot more as it makes the scalp more porous allowing much greater absorption of the drugs.
Spend some time looking in the 'new research', 'alternative treatments' & 'antiandrogens' sections if you can as there is a lot to be learned in those places in some of the threads. Also, the former posted IdealForehead has a lot of very valuable information that he shared in his posts and he too was someone who finasteride did nothing for.
Good luck man!
