I'm Going To Commit Suicide If Finasteride Won't Maintain

Personal incredulity fallacy. Because you don't understand it, it cannot be true?
You don't understand how every body is different? Why can I eat a 10 kg of gluten and be fine but why does someone else die from a few grams? Because we are different.

I just find it interesting. Every single person on this site who use AAs and HRT don’t appear to suffer with the inability to get an erection, yet there are some people on finasteride who do... I don’t understand that!

Anti-androgens cause anti-androgenic effects. What are examples of anti-androgenic effects? Decreased erection quality and libido issues. I have seen you made some decent arguments for difficult to defend positions so I know that you are now just deliberately acting stupid.

Committing suicide due to sexual dysfunction, that just screams virgin. But go off sis!

Ikarus I usually don’t really post anymore as I believe we’ve kind of agreed to disagree on most things but that is incredibly dismissive.

Yes Men can be very prone to suicide due to sexual dysfunction. Please remember that human beings in general always underestimate someone else’s suffering.

As INT stated, you’re decision to choose hair over sexual function isn’t critised by us anymore, at least I don’t. Perhaps return the favour and be more compassionate and not dismissive of others suffering.

No, from what i saw online of course, anecdotal reports, but i also saw a lot who say that they don't have problems.. From my own "experience" and from what i saw, kind of half and half something like that..
Always keep in mind, these forums are flooded with people with bad experiences. Those who dont have problems/sides dont use these sites.

Meh, even if i think also that there are more with bad experiences i'm sure that there are a lot with good ones also, a lot want to inform themselves and share with others, especially when it comes to hair loss and other stuff... But we can't know for sure, we can just assume...

Exactly. That whole "people without sides have no reason to be here" stuff is just an assumption that a lot of finasteride users like to use.

I know it's been the proverbial "just hold on, new treatments are incoming!" pretty much ever since finasteride came on the market 20 years ago and some people unfortunately found it wasn't working for them, but I genuinely believe that there is at least a 'decent' amount of movement occurring now with treatments that are now becoming harnessable depending on how willing you are to buy now from sources that are selling things that are currently not 'officially' recognised as 'recommended treatments'.

Personally finasteride didn't work for me but CB has (which is going to be the third officially recognised hair treatment along with minoxidil & finasteride in a couple of years when it passes the final FDA stages, but you can buy bootlegged adaptions of it now).

Also, in my time researching I've seen people have success with topical seti & darolutamide, just to name a few.

No one treatment works for absolutely every person. That is a fact.

Don't give up yet just because the one you've tried so far hasn't worked for you.

I also think microneedling combined with any of those 3 aforementioned topicals (or others) will potentiate the positive effects of the drugs quite a lot more as it makes the scalp more porous allowing much greater absorption of the drugs.

Spend some time looking in the 'new research', 'alternative treatments' & 'antiandrogens' sections if you can as there is a lot to be learned in those places in some of the threads. Also, the former posted IdealForehead has a lot of very valuable information that he shared in his posts and he too was someone who finasteride did nothing for.

Good luck man!

Hey man, I was feeling the same way as you about a year ago (you can check my posts to confirm) but I’m feeling a lot better now!

I was suicidal and depressed to the point that I had to get on antidepressants.

You should really message me, because I know EXACTLY how you feel.

You’re 20 years old. I was in the same position as you but now I’m 30. Just wait 3-5 more years. That makes me what, 35? Great f*****g timing just as my youth starts to fade away (the youth I never even had anyway). At least you’ll get to enjoy some of yours. I want to f*****g kill myself.

It’s the issue that people on this website think they live in a perfect world and can have both things. No. That’s not how life works. If you want to have no sexual sides, don’t take medications and just shave it off, see a therapist about the depression and suicidal tendencies. I don’t have less erection quality, it just needs to be manually attended. But I’m not complaining, and neither are those who are using powerful AAs and HRT, it’s because you have to give up something to gain something. It’s not that hard of a concept to grasp, and I am sure people on this website are old enough to understand that life isn’t fair but you can at least try to set the cards of life in your favour. Whether if that’s getting a hair transplant, a hair system, or even shaving it off.

exactly, Androgens aren't needed to physically get an erection, they force you to get spontaneous erections like morning wood..
with androgens you won't lose it even if you don't use it but without androgens you will lose it if you don't use it but even without androgens you still won't lose it if you use it (tongue twister)

For special people who don't care about turning into a woman like you maybe, but for normal average men, sexual function is EXTREMELY important.

You are the same guy who tried using a biased poll on this website to backup your ‘point’ of finasteride causing sexual side effects. Your opinion is what? IRRELEVANT!

The first batch that I got which I'm still on now I got off Wuhan on Alibaba, but I may try Kane next time as Wuhan not offering replacement for package intercepted by customs is a bit deterring.

What has CB done for you personally? Also, how much does it cost you per month if I may ask?

Thanks!

Are you serious? So you don't think sexual health is important to a man? You are crazy.

The poll is the poll, sucks you don't like the outcome but 50%+ of users here had side effects, cry about it all you want though. To every sane individual it's clear oral anti androgens are VERY dangerous.

You are a mentally ill man that has no problem into changing to a woman just to save some hairs. If any person's opinion is irrelevant it's yours.

I'm serious when I say this, you are a dangerous individual who tries to normalize transgender regimens just to save hair. Disgusting.

Someone wanting to use hair loss medications should debate whether hair loss or sexual dysfunction will impact their mental health more. In all honesty, I don't think sexuality should be a priority for men, maybe if it wasn't then men wouldn't dominate the statistics when it comes to sexual misconduct. Nonetheless, the poll is greatly biased and that's a fact; there isn't even a discussion around it. You are mad that finasteride didn't work for you, and now you are expressing your personal experience with it as a whole.

You can call me 'mentally ill' all you want, but that doesn't change the fact that your opinion is entirely irrelevant and is based on personal experience. You can claim that I am 'turning into a woman for hair', yet you are turning into Varys due to the placebo effects you had from finasteride.

I'm serious when I say this, you are an irreverent individual who tries to use a bias poll to promote nonsense and misinformation. Clown.

Look through my post history, all the answers are there.

$56 USD in case that post got deleted, although I am planning on using 12.5mg a day once I start microneedling so it will be $28 a month - that's if it proves to be effective, which I think it will.
