Well, as some may have thought, I had conquered my hairloss for sometime, but unfortunately imperfection has taken it's turn of events, and I once again find myself fighting for my hair's life LOL. I have managed to control my crown for the past 4 years, but my hairline has began pushing my buttons again.

I am now thinking of a new dosage schedule for Saw Palmetto, but nothing definitive as of yet. I am open to hairline tackling suggestions...

My regimen was and still is the following:

1.5ml minoxidil 5% mornings on crown and hairline.
260mg Saw palmetto daily
Nizoral 3 times a week
Progaine Shampo all other days

And ocassionally shaving to help with itching.

Hiya XL -- good to see you back (although you're probably not too happy about returning). When you were last here, you were more concerned about losing your temples, but now, is it your vertex that is going away?

I would go on finasteride but if you dont wanna take finasteride i would try Fluridil, or Xandrox 15 with 5% spironolactone. I'd honestly jump on the finasteride bandwaggon. I really dont beleive that topicals alone will do the best job but in combination with finasteride it should work great. I've read tons of positive results from Fluridil users and only some people's scalps couldn't handle it.

Nope, vertex is holding up just fine. It's the bloody temples that don't want to get their act straight...sigh...

Honestly i've used Xandrox 15 for less that a month with 5% spironolactone and i got a short haircut today and my temples have improved a lot. I was on regular 5% Rogaine for about 5 month's before that and the Xandrox really helped.. Im dropping the 5% spironolactone and switching to Proxiphen since it has 2% spironolactone in it already with a ton of other things.
