I wanted to ask you about using Propecia to target my crown. I’m a Caucasian male in my early 20s. I have problematic hair on both sides of my family – mom and dad (my paternal grandmother had great, thick hair). Since I have “badâ€￾ hair on both sides of my family I am naturally very concerned. I also have naturally high temples....think Daniel Craig.

Now, my hair color (brown) and texture is similar to my mom’s, or so I’ve been told (if that is of significance).

My question is, basically, is Propecia a good way to go, to at least maintain? Should I bother getting a prescription? Should I place any faith on Propecia?

Since Propecia has been proven to work in the crown I would say go for it but you never really specified ether you had male pattern baldness or not just saying you were targeting the crown.
