Its a good addition.

I use a 1.5mm 520- needle dermaroller.

I press the dermaroller soft to mild on the skin till some drops of blood appear then stop. Apply the minoxidil right after.

@Somebody has a youtube channel explaining his method which is very similar to the one im doing

Disinfect the dermaroller before and after use.

I take finasteride even with ED. I want to keep my hair badly and I know I can stop finasteride and my dick goes back to normal after a week.

I started september 2013 and suffer a massive shedding that lasted till february.

Regrowth is not really common if you rely solely on antiandrogens.

Thank god i found somebody's thread and learned about the benefits of dermarolling combined with minoxidil.

@LosingHairIsNotFair I think you are past NW3 Vertex and diffuse all over.

If i were you i would attack the problem with the heavy guns and complementary angles before its too late.

I mean:

Alpha reductase inhibitor: Avodart
Wounding technique: Dermarolling/stamp 1.5mm once a week at least
Growth Stim: minoxidil

And maybe adding an antiandrogen like RU or CB can help with preserving your current hair.

Give it a good year. If that regimen doesnt work, consider a hair transplant.

Hi everyone, im already 19y/o
is this normal or im balding.Can anybody provide some info for me?
PS: my father is bald

The 2nd pic is just a normal shot and the first pic, I moved my hairs around to expose more of the scalp. This was taken under daylight with roof windows.

Was finasteride actually working for you when you were on it? Did you get some regrowth or just maintenance if it did?

I think I at least maintained and got a little regrowth, maybe. My dermatologist, who took pictures, told me that I was getting some hairline regrowth and my family told me it looked thicker.

So, hopefully, I get at least decent results this time around.
