I'm 17. At Which Norwood Stage Is My Hair?

Hair keeps getting thinner and I started noticing my hair around January.
Everybody on the internet has different ideas about what Norwood stages look like so why not ask here.

I think I'll have it buzzed off over the summer to see how my hairline actually looks.

I've heard that your hair's at NW3 once the temples align vertically with your sideburns. Seems like that applies to my case. What do you think?

You're just a natural norwood 1.5 (born with that hairline) with a widows peak. One of my friends son, 6 years old, his natural hairline is a norwood 2 A(big forehead). If he recedes any, which most people do when they get a bit older, he'd look like a 3a or 3. You're a typical slow burner and may not progress much until really old. Your age and comparison to your prepubescent pictures are important.

Anyway, they do look similar to my current hairline, but it's definitely receded since January when I first took notice of my hair. My temples and my hairline have gone back and I notice it best when I'm washing it.

It's also progressively gotten very thin (last pic). My crown is alright, afaik.

I've always had a high forehead, so what about the highest forehead wrinkle where my original hairline was?

Maybe but regardless your sideburns and temples are definitely not past NW2. Look like mine if not better and I know I'm not past 2

Yeah your temples far exceed your sideburns (good thing). I think your hairline looks pretty normal imo. When I was 18 I noticed it went up and 4 years later I'm probably about where you are, maybe slightly deeper temple recession. But everyone matures at different rates. You can get a hair bulk test/miniaturization study from a Doctor if you're anxious

oh you meant hairline corners not temples. temples and hairline corners are actually not synonymous. so your hairline corners and sideburns are about the same distance, but I've never heard of that meaning NW3. It definitely doesn't look like one
