illegal drugs and hairloss

hey guys.. i use drugs occationally
smoke weed often.. use other stuff occationally like cocain/ecstacy/shrooms

do you guys have any idea relations between illegal drugs and hairloss?
i was thinking maybe things like ecstacy might have some effect on hairloss cuz.,. its sort of anti depressant and it fucks with spinal fluid..
any opinions/comments are welcome..

i dont know much about those drugs, but i do know many many rock stars and movie stars are big on cocaine, after all like they said in the movie Blow, if you get hollywood, you get everyone else. and 99 percent of them seem to be in the top 1% of people who never show signs of hair loss.

i don't think anyone has connected any of those drugs to hairloss, i would stay away from the coke and X if i were you, i say that having no personal experience, just learning from those of others

cigarettes have been linked to hairloss, and cancer, so i would try cutting back on those too if you do that

stick to weed and shrooms if you can find any

Amphetamines can cause hairloss...and XTC is a derivative/family member of Amphetamine, so could do over a period I would think.

if you hammer these things regularly for a long time then hair loss is going to be the least of your worries but i firmly believe a little of what you fancy does you good.

No your hairloss is due to genetics and hormones. Drug use may have a very slight effect on these conditions, perhaps slightly pushing it one way or another but not enough for you to notice.

So, rec drugs are not affecting your hair, so thats not a reason to quit them ( although there are plenty others ).

i think when you use drugs..(except weed) you dont wanna eat.. you dont wanna sleep.. that effect your body and hairloss more than the drug itself

i used to smoke marlboros, then i started smoking these "eclipse" cigarettes, they are smokeless cigarettes, it takes a little while to light, there's a heating element at the end, and when you smoke them it's like you are inhaling warm air that doesn't really have any taste to it

after smoking those for a while, i got used to it and then smoking a regular cigarette was just disgusting. i used it as a baby step towards quitting, i used to wake up and smoke a cig, nothing like the first one in the morning, i haven't smoked a cig for a year now, and i have no desire to anymore
