At 26 years old you should be mature and old enough to make a mature and wise decision for yourself. Man up and take a decision, your gonna be the only one who will "suffer" the consequences, being they good or bad.

You have to understand that androgens are one of the main players (indirectly) in hair loss. An AA is necessary to stop/slow hair loss in most cases.
Check your family history. If NW4-7 are common, you start treatment (AA, not some natural treatment crap) early.

i started at 24 , i was having a similar dilema as you but when i looked around at my family and that alot of them went bald around 27-30 . i didnt want to be in that position, luckily i havent had any major sides YET (a little over a year on it now at 50 mg daily) , but ofc everyone will react to it differently. you could give other treatments a try before you start finasteride but for me it has worked and my hairloss hasnt progressed any further.

If your mother’s side are all full heads, then you most likely got the gene from your dad’s side, which are all bald. You’ll most likely become bald. Start treatment.
