What are the chances that your hair loss doesn't become much more aggressive? or are you pretty much doomed if you have a thinning crown this young?

I'm trying to figure out what my hair loss pattern is going to be. All the men on my dad's side were completely bald NW7 by 23. On my mom's side, my uncle and grandpa had some hair as they got older - my uncle still has some hair at 52 without using any pills for hair loss

If you make it till your 30s with enough hair id say chances of going past nw4 are slim maybe nw5 at worst at an old age. Most nw6 7 i know started thinning early at 16-18, im one of them.

Ahh i know the feel. My dad and all his brothers NW7 by 21. Im 21 now and now finally starting to lose hair but its happening fast. When im ur age ill prob be where u are if im luckly. I would say we are pretty much doomed. I have never seen a case where a dad was a young NW7 but the son is 35+ with good hair. Unless obviously you are a good responder to finasteride.
