Hey guys, I've seen some diverging opinions on this, so wanted to see what you guys know.
I understand once you quit finasteride you will eventually return to your genetically destined hair but my question is how FAST?
1)I've seen some say it happens incredibly fast and within months you could be caught up to where you would have been, without the finasteride use.
2) I've also seen people say you will lose it at about the same rate you would have originally, had you not taken finasteride. Ex: Take finasteride from ages 25-40, quit, reach your "destined" 40 hair loss 15 years later, at the age of 55.
Honestly I feel like I just need to hold on and prolong my hairloss till I'm out of my 20s and hopefully 30s, using finasteride for 15 or so years seems safe so far from testimonials of long-term users, but I would like to hope that by 40 I will come to accept losing hair, and just quit finasteride.
If the second one is what happens, that would be all the better!
