1. Your subcutaneous fat layer is eroding.

2. Your skull shape is dictating your hair loss pattern

3. You very likely have abnormally high fluid pressure in your scalp

4. You have some degree of calcification in the sutures UNDERNEATH your scalp, galea, and even skull bones.

5. You have an aged scalp. Regardless of actual age. The aging pathways in your body have worked against you in the form of cellular senescence and DNA damage.

6. You have scalp tension based on your specific skull shape, and possibly your eye, face, and neck muscles.

7. You have fibrotic tissue in your scalp and makes the process of any regrowth extremely difficult.

8. You have a growing number of sweat glands on your scalp.

9. You have calcification inside the actual follicle.

All of these are things you can in some way affect. And while they tie into 5AR very specifically, some exist independent of it.

So what would you recommend to do for each of your points? You seem to know what’s really going on compared to the others on here.
