... would you do it? O.O

I mean, like if it was possible to just click your fingers and change your gender completely (and permanently!).

I wonder this sometimes... like, if it was that or lose my hair....

I'll make this a poll! lol

Ummm no.

I'm balding not gay ffs.

Women are not only interested in men so this is not an argument. However, saying you like being a man is actually a valid argument.

Regarding Hoppi's poll, there is no guarantee that you would avoid hair loss as a woman as can be seen all around you(we have a forum for female hairloss here even).

On a related note, having switched my hormone system completely to female(little to no testosterone, normal estrogen levels for a woman) I can say that I am having regrowth, but it isn't miraculous as some might believe. Lots of little vellus hair on the temples that seem to be changing from vellus to terminal as the vellus fall out. Thickness slowly coming along the head, but it isn't like when I was a teenager.

Ok fair enough point DarkDays.

Did you change your hormone system because you want to actually become a woman or was it to just stop hair loss?

I'm just curious.

To become a woman. :)

Wouldn't suggest doing it unless you are transgender to begin with. For me it was like getting the best anti-depressant/anti-anxiety to eliminate testosterone and increase estrogen. Having the right hormones for your brain does wonders. For those who do it and don't have the brain issue they will most likely experience severe depression and lethargy, which is why more and more doctors prescribe HRT for many men and women to correct their natural sex hormones.
