for both sexes hair loss is a cosmetic condition, as far as we know at the moment. but more and more information is pointing to it being symptomatic of other underlying conditions.
wft medications and or treatments that are coverer by insurance that are for ONLY female hairloss that you speak of ???

and "symptomatic of other underlying conditions" do you want to let us in on this theory of yours?

the majority of women get age spots and wrinkles, should they sue to have insurance pay to remove those too?
