Will my hair go back to what it would've been had I not use finasteride at all (like in the case of minoxidil)? Or, say I use finasteride for 5 years then stop, will my balding have been slowed down by 5 years as hair follicles would not be as affected by dht during this time?

I know this isn't the answer you want to hear, but each patient can have a difference experience. Not to scare you, but I've seen people who have had a hair shed after stopping finasteride.

I don't think a 2 week break will have a major impact. It would have to be much longer. Why can't you just take the finasteride with you BTW?
