If I regrew hair in the temples with dutasteride............

.......... and switched back to finasteride later at some point, would the regrown hair stay? What are the chances to regrow with dutasteride? I'm trying to decide if I should switch to dutasteride since I seem to be maintaining with finasteride. I have not had any side effects with finasteride.

In my opinion even if you have regrow with duta(i think you will have good results with it) if you stop it and switch to finasteride,you will loose what you gained from duta... give it a shot and if you have good results and no side effects stick with it.

Hmm I don't know if you'd lose what you gained with dutasteride..i mean...your DHT would still be really low while on finasteride so...i don't see why you would lose anything..at least short term

I went from finasteride to dutasteride then back to finasteride again and lost a whole lot if hair. dutasteride manages to keep hold if your hair that is likely ultra sensitive to dht so when you go back to finasteride dht level rise a bit resulting in those hairs going again.

Damn so you've sort of run the gauntlet with finasteride and dutasteride. Why did you switch back to finasteride from dutasteride? How were the side effects on both? Just curious..thanks
