Ibuprofen gel is a good anti-inflammatory topical, has anyone tried it on their scalp for male pattern baldness?

Damn, Oni your becoming a mad scientist like me. I purchased some phenytoin. How about taking the liquid ibuprofen and mixing alpha lapoic acid and q10 in it? Then plucking out vellus hairs so as to encourage faster regrowth?

Caffeine inhibits adenosine so I would recommend capsaicin which is from pepper for just about the same result. Or better yet add adenosine as well. Hey where can I get some ethanol?

So I have made my own topical and the recipe is 35g of standard Ibuprofen gel and 400mg of caffeine in tablets form dissolved in 50ml of Isopropyl alcohol 70% and then filtered and reduced then mixed with the gel. I am going to give this mix ago for three months and report back.

Im anxious to see the results of the caffeine

Guys,
Im anxious to see the results of you using topical caffeine. I know caffeine is a diuretic. Im still intrigued by the german product, alpecin.

I did a bit of research on the company and university of Jena where their studies reputably took place. I couldnt find anything scammish. The only reason I approached that bunch with an open mind is the companies age and size. Its an old and pretty big outfit. I cant imagine their claims about caffeine would be misleading on purpose as they have a good reputation to protect.

The company states niacin and zinc are also in their after shampoo liquid. Menthol, vitamin b5, and alchohol would be to. The alchohol is obviously to get the caffeine to your scalp. This seems to be a product that could be reproduced at home if its shown to work. They have a caffeinated shampoo now also.

On a lighter note, Ive noticed that there are caffeine skin lotions, make ups, and even a caffeinated soap (so you can skip that morning coffee, it just gets into your system though your skin). Hope you fellas keep us posted. This is interesting, thx
