I wonder when we get a 15% foam

As it stands, my hair is blowing my mind. I'm only just over a month with foam (yet 3 yrs on mostly (skipped weeks, however) 1 per day liquid) yet it is thickening up in a fashion.... it's almost a dream come true. I mean, at this rate, in three to six months I'll have pretty thick hair. Which, coming from years ago as a norwalk 2.5 diffuser on the verge of going with the razor blade haircut, it's pretty phenomenal.

However, seeing all these "cures" falling on their faces, and realizing it might be another 5 to seven years before I can reach "the finish line", I realize that even though foam looks to give me pretty much as perfect hair as I can hope for, that the rate will eventually level off and maybe in four years it will start going down again.

So when will we get a 15% foam? Cause that stuff will ROCK :freaked:

My guess is that they'll do an "extra strength foam" by the end of 2007.

That's just based on the idea that all publicly owned companies in the consumer market try to constantly have incentives for people to buy "new and improved" versions of the same thing.

That said, I'd be one of the first online ordering that 10% foam if it ever came out - I am thrilled (seriously) with the foam.

I'm on my second bottle since uh.. late april I think (check my regimen thingy down there to see the date). Applied mostly to the vertex of my head but also right up the middle-front, as I'm thinning up there badly enough to notice. In what, 2.5 months or so I've noticed a lot of small hairs that are certainly new growth - not sure if these are permanent or vellus) (is that what they're called?), and also I credit my entire regimen as well.... but the foam is ridiculously easy to use and therefore easier to keep as a habit than the liquid was (tried liquid a few years back - hated it).

also anecdotally, my girlfriend says there's been a noticeable difference overall - and that just thrills me. :)

Wow. Wow. Wow.

I was out and about today and I couldn't help but stop and look in every reflective surface I could find... the very rapid changes under foam are really blowing my mind here...

I mean, my hair almost looks perfect, it's thickening up really fast.. liquid SUCKED *** compared to this... lol

I know I'm going to shed hardcore.. at least I won't discount that it's going to happen, then again, maybe it won't, or it won't be very bad. But regardless, six months from now, I don't think anybody would ever think I was losing my hair.

And to be able to say that....considering how my hair used to look... I want to kiss somebody.

FOAM.. ROCKS. It feels SO good to just touch the top of my head and feel thickness coming back. Solid hair. Dark, almost angry hair.

(again, disclaimer, I'm a positive responder with three very spotty years under my belt with 1X application and days and weeks skipped at times, but three years regardless, so don't expect the same hardcore response... plus I shave my hair really close, although it's about a quarter inch right now - grows so damn fast)

OTC sale, for 15 percent minoxidil, would have to get FDA approval first. Only 2 and 5 percent are approved for OTC sales.

You'd have to get 15 percent foam from a doctor or get an rx if it isn't approved by the FDA for OTC sale. The 2 and 5 percent solutions are exceptions to that rule.

You guys have to remember that minoxidil is a prescription medication.
