They have... namely, spironolactone.

But, as with alcohol, the good effects are accompanied by some nasty ones.

One part spironolactone, one part vodka, two parts cranberry and you have a Trannypolitan.

Army's good so far. Sitting here at Fort Bragg chillin' in my room. Thunderstorm rolling through so there's not much to do. Been treatment free for going on 8 months and all's still great. Yeah, the hair ain't coming back, but eh.. No one seems to really care, and if they don't, then I don't. So whatever. Seems the treatments havent been coming out exponentially faster like peeps said they'd be. Lotsa new faces, same ol' complaints about the same ol' treatments not working. Good luck guys. Remember, the best policy to overcome hairloss is to just ACCEPT the fact that you're losing it =)

Ahh, but what is success in the fight against hairloss... You can keep all your hair, but be shackled to your treatments for the rest of your life PRAYING that they still work. Or you can lose your hair, but be completely happy knowing that it's not that big of a deal. I chose the latter after a while, and I've found that I'm more happy now that I've come to accept reality than when I was trying to avert it. True 'success' is how you feel about yourself after all is said and done.

And when I was on the treatments, I was seeing minor results... so don't get me wrong, they DO work. I just chose to accept my fate. :)

Or you can do what I do, pop finasteride once a day, still keep the hair you have.

:)
