I think we should talk about the dangers of guys getting rx only stuff online

Hey guys. I'm not a doctor or anything but I've worked in healthcare. F-Pecia, Finpecia, and a bunch of other "drugs" widely sold at online pharmacies do not exist in the states. Any drug sold in the US has an NDC number and I can't find a match for most of the ones sold online. They might exist in other countries but how can you be sure what you're getting? I think it's reckless and dangerous to order rx only drugs online or to recommend doing so. The amount of guys that seem to be doing it and that this forum doesn't seem to do much to discourage it really bothers me.
I get finasteride 1mg legally for $90 for three months and I am absolutely sure it's real because I got it at my local pharmacy. My derm Doctor only requires appts once a year and even without insurance thats like $75. I could get finasteride much cheaper at about $9 for 120 days using Walmart's/whoevers special pricing list but I don't because I would have to split 5mg tablets and it ruins the coating that protects women and children that may be exposed to it.

so basically anybody in the states could get on finasteride legally for about $120 a year or less
I know Avodart costs more and whatever but at least with finasteride theres really no reason to take the risk. I think having links on the forums to buy such things that are obviously illegal is horrible and basically condones the practice.

Yeah its definitely not a good idea to get that stuff online. Its a combination of money and maybe embarassment of seeing a Doctor about it and I can understand that, but its worth getting a real prescription if your going that route

Yup, I had questioned the validity of medications online as well. Apparently there are many sites that are questionable, and a few that are confirmed from various people/sources/communities.

I had wondered about Inhouse Pharmacy originally, but after getting a bunch of responses and researching it online, nobody came up with anytime negative about them. For hairloss they do deal in Finpecia, which is produced by Cipla which makes a lot of medications internationally. My question had been has anyone ever chemically tested the pills, I didn't get any feedback on that but most of people's experiences which were positive. It would still be interesting to have someone out there lab test to see if there is a bio difference. Generics aren't supposed to waiver beyond a certain percentage chemically from the original brand names, but who knows what that means for medications not FDA regulated (for the U.S.)

Even if they are roughly the same they might not be equivalent enough, ie not as potent. Still with Finpecia (which a lot of people use), haven't heard too much bad if it is from one of those few online pharmacies with a good reputation. Still gotta wonder though.

Pharmacy reviewer is the site you should go to and look at the forums, reviews, blacklisted sites etc, see what people are saying about the various "online pharmacies". I used it as an indicator when I bought online before I eventually saw a dermatologist.

There is no such thing as a legit online site selling prescriptions without taking a prescription for it. Its not legal to do that so your gambling no matter how many people review or vouch for it does not mean they follow proper procedures and everything is legit. There is no way to tell

Is that $9 dollars for Finasteride without insurance or with? I don't have insurance and I want to start my Finasteride regimen.

i think getting it legitamitely would be better, even if just for piece of mind.
