I think my crown is thinning at 15

I'm 15 and I have noticed less hair in my crown, looks like a baldspot. Am I going bald? My father is 46 and is visibly losing his hair, but more at the front. Could this be a cowlick? Or should I get it looked at? Thanks!

It looks more like a cowlick, but it’s quite difficult to say for sure. I can recommend a trichoscopy if you're really worried. Then it will be possible to know for sure whether there is thinning or not.

Yeah, my dad is 46 and he's visibly balding, but my granddad is 72 and he's bald at the top, the sides are fine.

Just take good pictures and forget for a year or two. You can't take finasteride anyways for now.
