I've been off finasteride for several months, and I don't see any new thinning. Granted, no pictures. Maybe one of my temples receded 1/8 inch. I'll use up the rest of my finasteride, but I really wonder if at my age my balding has slown way down. I've been on finasteride for 8 years, and the cross over study had people get off after just 2 years, when their hormones were probably the same.
My other theory is that Nizoral is maintaining my hair.
