Hey guys thanks for supporting and answering my question. I've been on Propecia for 3weeks, and my hairline ( V ) has recede a lot, I experience massive shed as well as little bit more of body hair. I think i got the reflex hyperandrogenic. I will stop taking Propecia, and I think I will go on spironolactone. I'm not a troll, Propecia as defenetly increase my frontal loss drasticly !

Giving up the battle after just 3 weeks. You need more fight in you to defeat hair loss.

Sorry to hear your experience. The only thing is, with finasteride you can expect a big shed to begin with. The hormonal change alone can make you shed. Some people shed for a whole 4 months then suddenly they start regrowing the hair
+more. Its hard to believe 3 weeks of ANY medication can cause a visual difference to your body hair.

Yeah I know, but I come to the conclusion that unfortunatly i'm on a rare side of the reflex hyperandrogenic and finasteride won't work for me. I got the massive shedding at 2-3 week, and I seem to have more bodyhair than ever !:(

Goodbye your hair :(

Just read all your previous posts, probably a good idea to look at your paranoia issues rather than your hair loss atm.

Maybe it's in my head ... thx guy for the answers. Since I've read about Reflex it teared down. Because I sure 100% that in 3 week my hairline is worst.

I feel like nobody with finasteride had their hairline worst than ever. The people that had worst hairline with finasteride had the reflex or drop it. It really difficult for me to decide what to do now.

If you want a fighting chance against male pattern baldness you MUST stay on Finasteride at least a year to see the (potential) results. And like someone already stated it is normal to have a shed with Finasteride, and you absolutely CAN'T say it doesn't work for you after only 3 weeks. If you want hair you must be on the big 3, or else you'll lose anyway. Think of it like this; on Big 3 = a chance against male pattern baldness. Not on Big 3 = no chance against male pattern baldness. I'm not trying to push Finasteride on you or anything but I seriously think you should give it more time before making a decision, or else it might be something you'll regret in the long run. Good luck!

Thx a lot. The problem is I think it will worsen my hair (as it already does in 3 week (my girlfriend comfirmed my hairline is not the same) ! Otherwise I would really continue it and see if it effective. But not if it worsen my hair for ever ! I don't know if you know what I mean ! (sorry for my english)

I understand what you mean :) It's your decision of course. I just wanted to say that it is normal for it to get worse before it gets better as with any hair loss treatment, so if I were you I'd stay on it for at least a couple more months before making a decision.

Even for the hairline to get worse in only 3 weeks ? And I seem to be shedding normal hair a lot as well (not minaturized one)

my hair was at its worst 2 months in... and look at the results I had in the thread in my signature. You have no idea what you are talking about. It sounds like finasteride is working just as it is supposed to. Most peoples hair gets worse before it gets better after starting

If anything, it's a good sign. The hair you've lost in the past three weeks was already in telogen phase anyway, it would have fallen even without finasteride.
Stay on treatment for at least a year to judge the effectiveness of finasteride, do not expect your hair to look better before at least three months.

3 weeks seems too early to quit...but i always say everyone has to make their own journey when it comes to hair loss treatment...
