I THINK I'm getting somewhere on the foam

So when I started foaming (only using on the right side of the top of my head and crown) the right side of the top was much worse than the left. And guess what, now the right side is clearly better. Don't know if it's just balding creeping on or if the foam really had an impact.

Sunnyone, I'm not even sure if these are results but I do think the foam has done something. I've been on the foam for 6 months already (1x a day for most of the time).

That's how it's been for me. Foam is much more aggressive than liquid. But the cool part is when it all levels off. But yeah, the hair, at least mine did, goes on a supreme rollercoaster on foam, real lows, followed by supreme highs as things level off..

You're just more often. I use it every single day, twice daily, front and back. I NEVER did that with liquid. And foam has superior delivery method.

But you can't do what I've done unless you keep your head clippered or very, very short.

But hey, good looking shaved or short hair is FAR SUPERIOR to limp, flaying bacon strips kept under a baseball cap.

I will NEVER go back to liquid. I actually have a solid hairline now, aggressive, terminal hairs solidifying in the area that used to be a few millimeters of skin.

The main problem with foam is I think a lot of people think it's Rogaine styling MOUSSE when it's Rogaine VERSAFOAM designed to interact with the skin on your scalp, not your hair.

lol

i think it's okay to keep it longer if you are only using it for the hairline

Honestly, if your hair is long and thick and doesn't really look like it needs any help, then I would use Dr.Lee's quick drying liquid because you can get it down to the scalp with the dropper.

But if you're a diffuse thinner like me, take it up to Defcon 5 and go for the foam, with your hair shaved, clipped, or very, very short.

right now my hair looks like David Beckham on a very good month.

Foam is more effective but if my hair was super thick and long I would use Lee's liquid. Because it dries fast. I will NEVER use generic minoxidil or Rogaine liquid again.

Stuff is HELL. Designed to ruin your social life.

the foam is amazing, really easy to use. prob takes me less than 5 minutes total (both times) per day to put it on.

Also nice n small packaging, if you rip off the labels, looks like a can of mousse, easy to travel with.

Yeah I keep my hair buzzed pretty low, I can't grow it back anymore unless a miracle happens on treatments (which I highly doubt). I feel I'm fucked anyways since I have aggressive seb. dermatitis with skin patches flying around with hair attached to them. The liquid kirkland minoxidil totally destroyed my scalp health over a year ago and it hasn't felt good ever since.

Yeah and my crown feels worse than ever now. It has just suddenly gone to sh*t, I felt it was the part that had improved the most and now it's all gone again. Effing great, huh? And the crown doesn't even itch at all...
