i think I am shedding on propecia

Well, I think I am definitely shedding. I am in week 3 in propecia and when I comb my hair I will get like 10 hairs each time I comb. All the thin vellus hairs in my temple area are shedding when I put my hand there. I hope they will come back stronger and thicker. The good news is most of the hairs I am shedding are pretty long and some small. Before I started propecia I could comb my hair all I wanted and not get any hairs.

However, the shedding is nothing big. Nobody would notice except yourself. Do you guys think this is a shed and those hairs could come back?

How long should this last or stabalize? Can you guys give me a rough estimate?

YoungGuy, as many many many many many many many MANY posts have already covered since you've been here shedding is common, means the drug is working, and can last between 1 and 3 months when you first go on Propecia

I agree nick. Shedding on propecia just doesn't sound logical to me.

It has been well established by scientists that Propecia can cause synchronization of the hair growth cycles. Its not a myth. very common on Rogaine as well. Even mentioned on the Rogaine documentation.
