I got my hair cut the other day and my barber made it sound like I lost some ground since switching to generic foam. Since I went back to rogaine my scalp stopped tingling as well. I have come to the conclusion that the glycerine in rogaine really does make a big difference in our results. Any one else notice a difference?

I love the foam, way better. The generic foam was not as effective I don't think though. I notice my thinning spots were getting tingly after a month on generic and my crown has a different texture so it freaked me out.

Could be in my mind but the fact that it contains neither ppg or glycerine I think makes a bit of a difference. I don't think it's entirely ineffective, just not as effective.
