I Started With Tretinoin, Some Questions

Hi guys, i started to put some tretinoin ( retinoic acid cream 0,025%) on my hairline.

Will I see an initial increase in hair loss when starting Retinoic acid similar to the use of minoxidil ?

Is ok apply the cream 2 hours before the minoxidil application ?

and what's the max. quantity that can i apply ? i was thinking to apply a little also in the crown but maybe it's too much..

i started to see some thinning in the area where i put it. is it normal to see some initial shedding ?

Idk man. I use tretinoin on my hairline. I've never been conscious of increased shedding phases with any of the treatments I'm on...Maybe I'm just less observant than most lol.

I've been getting regrowth at an observable rate since starting it, although I began using peppermint oil at the same time, so it could be either or both that is boosting my minoxidil growth

I've read that it doesn't matter the time between when you apply tretinoin and minoxidil. I personally apply minoxidil about 20 minutes after tretinoin

Tretinoin is an acid. It basically helps Minoxidil absorption by burning off a small layer of the scalp,
which doesn't damage the hair.

maybe like the tretinoin is an acid it burns the weak/thinn hairs givin the impression of thinning ?

kj when you started to see some improvements from tretinoin ?
