I really need some help find if I am balding please!!

Hi, I am 23 years old and don't think I have anyone in my family that is closely related and is bald. If the information helps, I have taken DNA tests as well, and they show that my chances of hair loss are relatively low. Looking in the mirror I noticed that maybe my hair looks a little weird. I am not sure if I paid attention to it before and how much of it is paranoia but I could really use some input.

Also, for a few months I have been using a new head and shoulders anti dandruff shampoo. I usually shampoo once every two days and its well known that this type of shampoo dries the hair and really puffs the hair out. And lately I have noticed that my hair gets really hard if I don't wash it for more than 2 days. And when I move my hand through it, it kind of hurts. Could this be a sign that it is damaging my hair?

Thank you for the input. I was going to wash my hair with water only and find a new natural shampoo. My hair feels kind of weak when not washed for 2-3 days but I only started to think about this recently. So you think its just the whorl or is it just to early to tell? What about my hairline?

Washing it every other day would be good with a gentle shampoo. It could be propylene glycol in the shampoo that is bothering you. Whorl looks fine. Hairline you could take better pics of, but it doesn't look too bad there. Might be maturing. Like I said, need better pics

Here are some more images of the hairline although I am not sure how good they are. The right side seems fine I guess? The left side does this weird thing where it forms a line from the front to the back although it might be from how Im pulling it

You can see it better here. I am afraid that this might not be too good? But It might also be from my type of hair and the way im pulling idk... my hair is also starting to get a little weak now and Im not sure what it would look like after I shower

Thank you very much for the provided input. I might sound stupid but you really have no idea how much it means xd. My hair might also be maturing since I'm no longer a child. I will do as you say and hopefully my hair will become healthier with time.

Looks good i think, but make sure to take good photos with positions and angles that are easy to recreate and stash them in an album away and forget about it till a couple more months just to make sure.

Hey, I know I should wait a few months and should not be too paranoid but I just cut my hair and took pictures and would really like some help. So the hairline looks pretty great I think. The only reason it looked like that before was because of a cowlick and the way my hair was sitting. But looking at the back of the head what do you think? Is it fine and am I just paranoid or? Admittedly the lightning is kind of weird and it looks a tad different depending on the angle of the camera

It looks like a cowlick to me, mate. I do understand hair loss can be a frightening and intimidating thing, but you look fine. There's nothing wrong with seeking a bit of reassurance.
