So I know that it takes a bit of patience and dedication before you start seeing results but heres my question. It said on rogaines website it gets rid of the old weak hair and starts to grow new stronger hair. Im gonna post pictures of my hair a bit later. That being said I need to know if rogaine is a good start for me. I'm 20 years old, and the front part of my hair is thinning. I can see my scalp through my hair. Im trying to make my hair look thicker not get rid of the old hair just yet. Some hair stylist said to just put rogaine everywhere but I don't know if its a good idea because rogaine claims to get rid of the bad hair.

rogaine

So I been using Rogaine for 6months on my hairline. Receding temples almost like yours a bit more probably. It has grown a lot of versalle hair or however they call it. I skip a lot of doses so I haven't been doing it right and it has stopped the recession. But what I noticed on putting on rogaine after 6 months I might have been doing it all wrong. I read it says rub it in, but I would rub it until it was dry, in my mind thinking it had been absorbed. I could be right it was absorbed and I was doing it correctly. But for 2 weeks now I have started rubbing it in and than adding a dose and just rub it so it becomes a liquid and let it sit there. I am now getting tingly sensation everytime I don't rub it in and let it sit there to absorb itself. Have I been doing it all wrong? I would try both methods. But rubbing it in I felt no effect/tingly, whereas, letting it sit there, I feel tingly. letting it work by itself. Maybe I was destroying the chemicals rubbing it in? I hope you can understand my statement

Start using 5% on your forehead and middle of your hair. Using it while your young does make a difference. I grew all my hair back at 20, but stopped using it for six years. Start now. If you wait too long it will be too late. Don't use it everywhere, that's just stupid. It's not an anti androgen. But it will make a difference and can make one on your forehead. Prefentative measures are good, and I even tell my son to use it.

my main concern is that I will lose the hair thats already on my forehead. Is that true that it kills the weak hair?
