Hello Friends,

I'm just curious, does it look normal or a beginning of a loss?

I always had thin and straight hair. Sometimes they look very rich and sometimes they become very very thin. I have a wide forehead as well. I also put a picture of my baby style maybe it may give a clue.

Babyish

Around 4-5 years before

Today / I took the pictures closely with a mass flaslight

Slicked Back With Water

Are there any difference ? I wanna make them stronger, what do i need to use? I used to take Medobiotin daily for 3-4 months but didn't really affect.

Thanks for the comments.

looks like the hairline is going back a bit

is that normal?????

well yes men normally recede with aging
especially if you have male pattern baldness in your family

all i can say is look at your male relatives hairlines
if they are bald

you have a higher chance of becoming bald

as stated before your hairline is thinning back

usually treatments are not that effective on the hairline

although the big 3 has certainly grown hairlines back

Thanks for the comment. But the truth is, i dont lose any hairs, for exampla after shower maximum 5-6 hairs are getting lost. And i don't see them in my environment as well.

This is a pic from a year before. My father is not bald, but my uncle is. Don't know which product to use to strengthen my vertex. It was not strong anytime...

ok your not "receding"

i however can see from your pictures of miniaturization at the hair line

it's not about "loosing hair"

male pattern baldness is very slow and gradual

male pattern baldness is the miniaturization of the hair follicles

meaning the affected dht sensitive hair will grow back thinner and smaller each time
untill only a very fine short hair exist

but hey what to i know

no i wouldn't jump completely on the big three

using minoxidil is a drag

but finasteride is easy to use

finasteride is also used for maintenance.... which i think you desire

if you are worried about loosing more hair
i would jump on finasteride first

and give it some time

i noticed my hair got alot darker while using finasteride
meaning a reversal of miniaturization

just a suggestion

I don't think you have male pattern baldness, I can't even really see the beginnings of a mature hairline yet.

I wouldn't bother with finasteride+minoxidil yet, but it can't harm to use Nizoral twice weekly. I'd consider using nizoral even if I didn't have male pattern baldness.

If I were you I'd wait 6 months, take another image, and see what happens there.
Considering you aren't shedding (mind, not everyone with male pattern baldness "sheds") I don't think you have male pattern baldness.

Can see a little miniaturisation, but this does happen with most people in the early twenties (the transition from the juvenile hairline to the "mature" hairline - NW1 to NW1.5 - NW2.)

sometimes my hairline seems receding, and 2-3 weeks later its being full again. I don't understand why. People were saying ''u are losing hair'' when i was at high school. Now i'm 25 but still gaining power and getting thinner some times. am i android or what? :D

please keep in mind the whole miniaturization process

use your best judgements

who knows what Norwood you are or what you will become

everything looks ok now but you have to agree miniaturization is occurring on your hairline

finasteride has the potential to strengthen your hairline
who knows

i personally don't think you need to use anything

however if your hairline miniaturization bothers you then i would consider doing something about it

BodyDysmorphic thanks for the info really its useful

The finasteride is active ingredient right? Coz i'm searching for it and all i found is; Proscar, prosterir and propecia. All do the same right?

Do they have any side affects like... When u gain mass hair, if u stop taking it, everything goes back again?

And final question is, i see that it happens a lot more when seson changes. I've seen some new hairs coming in and they looked normal to me. I was taking medobiotin regularly for 2-3 months then i gave up but when i was takind the pills, temples were much stronger than that. Do you recommend me to re-start or finasteride as you mention.?

Thanks for everything.

I took 2 picture today with clean hair from left and right temples.

those new pics show a much better picture of your hair situation

i believe you are still a NW1 becoming an NW2
which is not male pattern baldness

pictures are very hard to diagnose very slight hair loss and male pattern baldness

i think i would wait to use treatments

i have no idea what medobiotin is

i am no doctor and in my personal opinion your hair situation is perfectly normal
you are possibly becoming a NW2 .........which is not considered male pattern baldness

i would wait to use finasteride and MIN
i agree with cuebald nizoral couldn't hurt your situation

i would hate to think i encouraged someone to take something they don't really need
and i dont think you need to use finasteride or min
