Buzz your hair and you will think different trust me :D you still manage to hide the baldness with your long hair but once you make your hair short u wont be happy with your hair trust me

I shaved last year and fortunately I have a square enough face that it’s not a bad look. My fiancée loves me with or without hair.

Lots of cope in this thread.

OP, get on finasteride or forever settle for f*****g hookers and being the "last choice" for some land whale.

Hookers? Land whales last pick? You are aggresively attempting to find a way to get me to consider Finasteride. I have a 90 day supply but I felt tired after a week on it. I have received two opposite opinions from dermatologists and want to hold off on affecting my hormones until I’m a dad.You guys showed me that finasteride doesn’t promote a healthy personality. Thanks for your time.

Looks like male pattern baldness to me, but maybe your hair was always like that. IMO if your really going bald people around you will mention it or notice it. You will notice it. Its hard to miss. You see yourself one day and just realize how much thinner your hair is. When you notice a real physical difference and your sure of that IMO is the time to get on the big 3.
Its a tough choice though to commit your life to taking these treatments/drugs forever. The prices can change, sides from them could pop up any day. Its just a pain in the butt, and your on it forever. We dont know if anything better will ever come out we just guess.

Best answer ever. It’s only an issue once people notice. I can either wear a hair piece or look at dropping some money on a hair transplant which will then be the point I start finasteride but only once I am a NW3+ / it’s problematic to my hair styling.

Being bald at a young age in this day and age = a guaranteed shitty life.

Dating will be much more difficult, and once you convince a girl not to go for you, good luck preventing her from nagging you all the time because she know that almost no girl out there wants a bald man.

You'll also struggle more to find and secure a job. Young bald men don't inspire much trust, they already look old in their 20's. If you have to interact with clients, you can just forget about it.

You friends and random people will regularly take jabs at your lack of hair. You'll become the clown of the group, and don't you dare ever antagonizing anyone as a bald man because you'll get this fatal burn: "At least I have hair!"

OP. Don't go there. Save your hair, save your life as you know it, as it could be, don't make the mistake of being forced to live a sub-version of the life you could have had. You've been warned.

Hair pieces are not a viable solution for hair loss. They don't work. Just so you know.

I have an excellent job working for an awesome corporation that does about 1 billion in world wide sales. About half of my colleagues are bald and I’m talking fully bald. One of the most respected sales reps is 24 and his crowns balding as large as the sun. he makes 100k+ per year. I am treated with respect and don’t see that changing just because of my hair going away. I have higher education and a career path so I’m not too concerned with what judgements you say are waiting for me around the corner. Like I said, if I recede any further I will get a hair transplant (affordable for me) and start finasteride for which I will take for the rest of my days.

You probably won't ever be a dad once you hit Norwood 6.

Guys, I agree that hair is important and that he should actually start using finasteride to preserve it. But if he's really okay with going bald, just let him lol. His decision.

But on the other hand, why would you (maplglo) create a thread asking for advice and just using a cope mechanism just to deny every suggestion that has been made except the one's you agree with?

If you are so happy with your hair why did you do the thread and why the name of the thread is “
I Need Your Help! What Norwood Am I? Should I Start finasteride?” ??? :D

I needed people’s opinions of where I stand on the Norwood scale. You all seem to look at hairlines and know when finasteride is necessary. I found the answer I was looking for. This forum was never meant for me.

Half the comments are based on scaring me into the idea of baldness, not acceptance or the severity of my male pattern baldness. It’s either Start finasteride now or you’ll regret it. Is that reallly helpful? I didn’t know this website was a Finasteride support group. Later.

They are kind off right though, a LOT of people regret not using finasteride earlier. The reason why they're being so harsh on you is because they're doing what your fiancee, family or friends don't do: telling you the truth about you current situation with your hair.

I stated I would start finasteride once my hairline recedes more to the point of a V. I appreciate all of your input. f*** the haters and sissy boys.
