I need some answers!!!

I've been on the big 3 for 5 months .. Nizoral on and off .. Over the past month I have been experiencing a increase in dandruff and a unbearable itch to my scalp all over , I've never had either before. What could this be ? And is it effecting my hair gains ? Does dandruff effect me thicken my hair ? It's like my scalp is peeling off their some many flakes especially in the morning , I often times have to scratch my head cause it just itches to badly and a few hairs shed off its driving me crazy , I've been feeling like my hair as slowly becoming worse . I'm trying to stay positive and think of this as a shed which is causing my itch and it'll be over in a few months and the thicker hairs will come .. I just can not give in to the possibility of being on treatment for so long to actually be getting worse .. Please anyone with similar experiences

Could be either the minoxidil or nizoral irritating your scalp. Try switching to minoxidil foam. Also, either don't use nizoral as often, don't let it sit on your scalp too long or try another shampoo with ketoconazole.

Can it? Yes. Is it a major factor in hair loss? Not so much.

Giizmo is right, minoxidil liquid had many cases where it caused damage to the skin. Switch to the foam, easier to apply and quicker to dry, and also stay on nizoral

Any oils I can apply to my scalp to calm the itch ? And how do you apply it or when ?
