Hey everyone, I have been looking for a good doctor who knows a lot about hair loss. I have gone to my doctor and all I get is, if you father lost his hair at your age then so will you.
I started using liquid minoxidil, and nozoral shampo from june '07-April '08 and had great results. I had to stop because I was scheduled to get rhinoplasty later that month. After my surgery I completely stopped using minoxidil because I thought what I gained from minoxidil could be maintained with nizoral (I know that was dumb of me). A month past after my surgery and I started to shed a lot, and my hairline started to recede. I think most of my shedding was caused by the after effects of the surgery So...I began using minoxidil again but was not working like before. I then bought revivogen (I think that's what its called) and stopped using minoxidil which slowed down the shedding. Now I am using minoxidil on my crown and using revivogen on the frontal top.
I am trying to find a good doctor in the socal area who could prescribe me propecia, and do a blood test to see if any thing else other then dht is causing my hair loss.
If anyone could refer me to a good doctor in the socal area that will be great.
