I Just Have A Quick Question: When Your Balding Is Your Scalp Supposed To Feel Sore?

For all you guys whom are balding, when you lift up your hair is some places do the roots of the hair ever feel sore? I've been experiencing that for a while and I don't know. I have diffuse thinning, and a receding hairline and a thinning crown.

Yes definitely, I used to have these feelings at 17-19 once and a while, it kind of felt like you've been wearing a hat all day and the hair was getting pulled the opposite way. Idk if everyone feels this but I'm 100% sure it's due to male pattern baldness/inflammation that is caused by male pattern baldness.

Yes and the itch is on point on the areas that are miniaturizing.

One more quick question, when you're balding are you hair follicles supposed to have a white bulb at the end? My hairline recedes daily but my hair never thins to the point of no return, instead it just falls out and just doesn't grow back though it has a white bulb. Is that normal as well?

I'm not sure about it. I've always had some weird feelings on my scalp, burning feeling, itchy and so on...I haven't noticed anything. It may be that your scalp is dry, you take care of it wrong or something like that.

One more thing, I think this is the point of "I don't know dude I ain't no Doctor," but receding hairline, thinning crown, and diffuse thinning hair as well? My hair loss has started since mid-January and just has been rapid. But something that does question me is that my sideburns are thinning as well? I've been to a derm and they said I look fine and I took blood tests and they came back rather healthy. So what do you think about my sideburns?

I had a raging burn itch

I do not recall feeling sore

did finasteride help the itch or burn go away or change it at all? I really dont want to touch finasteride at all, but I know for sure my itch and hair loss is from androgens.

I was briefly on propecia

The burn is totally normal

Perhaps you have some swelling going on or allergy
