I am wondering how long it will take to become NW4 without treatments. I am receding around the hairline some hair are like half size of normal hair and some like 1 cm length around the bigger widow's peak. Noticeable hair falling is when I apply hair products and wanna style my hair with a brush after I used a hairdryer and its for about 1-3 hair I lose... Anyway, I didn't notice that I lose some hair per day or when I shampoo my hair.. I made a mark when my hair are receding.

I used pomade with a bright finish on photos so don't really good option for my hair. Now I am using clay with a matte finish and it's much better...

What kind of treatment would you recommend when i am receding around the hairline

Finasteride should be your first step. Then possibly add minoxidil after a few months.

I'd say you are going to norwodd 2.5 right now. First how old are you ?

22 yo. I've posted a photo how my hairline looked like when I was kid xD also photo when I've buzzed my hair 6 months ago so you can better judge my hair loss. I would like to stop miniaturization of hair around the hairline is Propecia supposed to do that? I heard it only reverse miniaturization of hair on the crown and it will stop the hair loss so it will not regrow hair around the hairline. Am I right? Do you see diffuse thinning on the photo when I have buzz cut ? idk but I think I had more hair on the top

I highly doubt finasteride can regrow your hairline... I'm aware there are other medications which have the potential to (MtF regimens) but I doubt finasteride has the power to.

The top is diffused thinning. What age did you start losing hair at? What is your family history of hairloss?

If I were you id get on finasteride right now.

As recedingornot87 said, how aggressive is your hairloss? But judging from your current state, you have a good chance of thickening it up if it's not aggressive(I.E., you lost most of your density in a short period). In your state, I'd jump on minoxidil and derma roll also.

That’s not great for 22. Nw3ish with diffuse thinning... nw4 I would guess late 20s early 30s. The diffuse thinning is usually a good sign that you won’t stabilize on your own
