The sides of my head are diffuse thinning while the top remains the thickest. I can take a photo of the top of my head with flash and not see any scalp at all but the sides of my scalp look like complete sh*t.

I don't think that I have regular male pattern baldness, dutasteride and min are doing f*** all, the sides of my head are just getting less dense year after year. Who the f*** goes bald on the sides of their head?

Have you ever buzzed your head? Curious if the top would look close to the sides at the same length? I have seen some people with hair like yours though that the scalp area appears to have better hair density at first glance at least.

From the picture, it looks like there is hair loss in my opinion, but it is happening all around your scalp in a diffuse
pattern.

Your hair is thick, so it is not easily noticeable. The only reason I say that is from the enlarged picture.

There are other causes of hair loss, such as thyroid, and other issues. You really should get it checked by a professional.

I think you have diffuse balding from androgen alopecia, because the density does not appear to be uniform in the
picture.

The truth is I don't understand sh*t about baldness, despite the fact that I visit these sites often. I guess I just feel I do, but the truth is
I'm not a dermatologist and I can only give my opinion.

That said, I had a friend whose older brother had alopecia from his immunity system. He temporarily lost his hair, including his eyebrows/eyelashes, but it grew back.

I've never buzzed my entire head but I used to get skin fade hair cuts when I was a teenager back in 2018 which led me to find out that my hair lacked density on the back and sides because one day I went back to my barber and accused him of f*****g my hair up because it looked patchy as f***, just for him to tell me that it was just the density of my hair :D

I must have deleted my original photos but these are the earliest non deleted photos that I have found from the beginning of my profile, back in 2018-2019.

The density of my sides seems to have always been sh*t but i don't see how this can be natural? most people can't see this amount of scalp at the sides of their heads,
