I'm 22, first noticed some very minor diffuse thinning in the left temple back in Oct., so I decided to treat it with something mild, like Revivogen. This is the first hair loss treatment I have ever used, and the only treatment I have been using for the past five months.

In all the areas of application, my hair has thinned out. I was a Norwood 1.5 in Oct, and today I'm looking more like a Norwood 2.5. So far, all the hair that I shed at the beginning of the treatment has yet to regrow. My hair is in really bad shape, much worse than it was back in the fall. This is all very aggravating since I had a full head of hair this summer, and now I'm thinning out along my temples, hairline, and sides because of this product.

I don't know what's going on. By the looks of things, I'm having trouble believing Revivogen can repair the damage it's already done in the next few months or so. Damn. I hate this product.

Re: Revivogen is not very good

Cut down from every night to 5 days a week. Add Nizoral and a mild shampoo (tea tree)

Re: Revivogen is not very good

1) Why did you opt for an unproven treatment instead of a proven treatment? This entire website is dedicated to directing people like yourself to proven treatments first, and unproven ones as an adjunct.

2) You have NOT been on this treatment long enough to say it "isnt very good". Five months is less than half of the time you need to give Revivogen to really begin to work.

3) Shedding is a sign the treatment is working, especially in the first 6 to 8 months. Any treatment that is helping treat your hair loss can do this. Also an example of misinformation and lack of education on this topic. Please read the website.

4) I am going to change the title of this thread so that those who don't bother reading it, wont see this erroneous junk sitting in the forum for the next three weeks, and mentally assume Revivogen sucks, when the real problem is that the author of the thread is not educated on how to treat his hair loss properly.

5) Do not drop to 5 days a week and add Tea Tree shampoo. That advice is also erroneous (do you guys read this site?) ... Add Nizoral Shampoo and get on it immediately. Use once every 3 days. Then, either get on a proven treatment, or bite the bullet until you've reached the 12 month mark on Revivogen.

6) IF you choose to stay on Revivogen, consider adding Topical Spironolactone twice a day, as without it, I cannot confidently claim it will approach Propecia's benefits without the Propecia: http://www.hairlosstalk.com/shop/catalo ... ucts_id=72
