I am really excited. I wanna slow down the process of ageing and look like 3-5 years younger than my actual age. Anyone else trying to fool mother nature?

I've used sunscreen for the past 8 years because skin cancer runs in my family. I really think it's helped me look younger too.

Yeah, and I'm pretty sure I'm succeeding... Apart from eating healthy and exercising regularly (which is definitely the cornerstone of anti-ageing) I reckon these are helping me in the process:

- green tea (3 cups per day)
- drinking shiteloads of water
- capsaicin / chilli
- eating lots of fresh fruit & veg

I don't wear sunscreen unless I know I'll be in the sun a while. Not if I'm just riding my bike 5 minutes to class. I always where a hat though, and sunglasses. I wonder if these actually help. My face sure does look old. It is mostly the lines on my face though, and the pores on my nose.

Do you guys think I should wear sun block all the time? I think it would be a greasy, smelly pain in the butt. I also don't think sun block is good for the skin. It is better than lots of UV rays though. I just don't think it is worth wearing it for 5 minutes of sun exposure.

if you are truly obsessed with anti-aging then yes you should be wearing a sunscreen constantly, though its not so hard as so many moisturizers contain sunscreen.

however you'll be ignoring a huge part of the aging process. go read anything by Dr Perricone, for those of you who have an unholy obsession with halting aging, Dr Perricone should be a god to you.

Try using idebenone as a topical. 20grams could be had really cheaply in powder forum, at Bulk Nutrition and Beyond A Century.

Creams and lotions do lilttle for anti-aging, if youre not taking of the inside it'll reflect on the outside..."anti-aging" has many angles to it

I find it interesting that in an era where people are obessed with sun screen, we have the highest incidents of skin cancer ever. Yes, other factors can come into play here like our longer life span...

Even so, I'll never use sun screen again. Our bodies produce melanonin (think that's what it's called) as a natural sun-block. Ok, so you have to use some common sense when going out in the sun, but why is what nature gave us not good enough?

And FWIW, sun block is mostly petroleum. Yeah, let me bathe in oil...That's gotta be good for me and my skin.

Err, because of the increased amount of UV rays due to the depletion of the ozone layer thats why we are being affected more than ever before, and why our natural protection (melatonin) is not enough.

Yeah, but is it as good as the ingredients used separately? I somehow doubt it!

Why wouldn't they be? My dermatologist informed me that ingredients in skin creams don't react with each other.

What? First of all I don´t have access to HairLossTalk.com from Monday to Friday. Second what shall I say? I doubt what your dermatologist has told you, that´s it. Lol

Mate I just want to know why the ingredients seperately would be better? Because I am interested in anti-aging as well.

It is common knowledge that such "All in One" product aren´t as good as the ingredients used separately. Often they are less powerful when combined. Go to http://www.makeupalley.com and ask for their opinion or read the product reviews. In the end it is up to you.
