Now I have posted about this before on these forums and I didn't get any good responses but since then my inflamed scalp and extremely sensitive hair has only persisted to my annoyance. Though I have since found measures to reduce the intensity of the inflamed areas and in the areas where I was inflicted by male pattern baldness are less sensitive to the touch. As you know people who loose the temples areas still have small blond hairs that remain....which were horrendously sensitive when touched are now less sensitive I guess since dousing them in extremely cold water to close the pores.
See I'm not sure anyone deals with this BS, I'm not sure what made my scalp ****ing painful and my hair so sensitive........ I can feel the smallest breezes.....

I'm not sure dousing your hair and head in extremely cold water can do, but it's obviously helping and I'm going to keep doing it. I am absolutely certain it is doing something to my pores, it's very good for people with greasy skin FYI. Obviously it won't do anything for male pattern baldness, but hell it works for my weird and aggravating condition.

I also get these weird sweet pockets under my fringe, and it turns into a sought of stinging sensation wtf(I have to quickly rubbing that area to disperse the sweet)...I really should go to the doctors because holy fook I've looked online and no info.

Any of you wash your hair in extremely cold water? I do it for obvious reasons as I have said, but I could imagine it could help in other ways.

Also I feel like it happens if I don't wash my hair regularly.

thx for reading.

I remember used to have constant itching and soreness before I started my regimen. The whole itching and inflammation does seem to have something to do with male pattern baldness. Ever since i've been using finasteride I don't get any itching, however, i do still get the odd sore red bump now and then but it's been isolated towards the nape instead of a random places on my scalp. One thing you could do, which helped before I started using finasteride is to use aloe vera gel. Aloe vera has some good antiinflammatory actions, it reduces prostaglandin production. It should help soothe your scalp.

If this carries on it may be best to approach a specialist as there could be a host of reasons why you are suffering this.
