So finasteride greatly exacerbated what was just slightly puffy but unnoticeable nipples, which I've had since puberty. My marginally puffy nipples are now oblong cones. At about week 3 on finasteride, despite supplementing with grape seed extract, zinc, vitamin d3, b-vitamins, etc., my nipples started tingling and hurting, which is a something I've never experienced before. This was after I'd already noticed some itching and increased in size, but for some reason I assumed the itching might have been a LACK of estrogens rather than an excess. Boy did I think wrong.
I know why this happens - excess aromatization from elevated testosterone levels and low DHT conversion, etc. I want potential solutions. Excess convexity has started to go down almost 2 weeks after I stopped taking finasteride but it's clearly not subsiding completely on its own. I've been going to the gym less and adjusting my clothing due to nipples-visible-through-t-shirt syndrome. I've read about tamoxifen treating finasteride-induced gynecomastia so I'm considering saving up for that:
Tamoxifen for flutamide/finasteride-induced gynecomastia
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9426725
Any suggestions or advice? Thanks a lot.
Other sides experienced if you're curious: brain fog, hot flashes, cold sweats, anxiety attacks, massively fluctuating sexual arousal, reduced appetite, headaches
