i am now going to give up all treatments ,avodart has not even slowed my loss and i lose hairs that are thick at the top and paper thin at the bottom,this tells me that healthy hairs that were alrigh are now being minturized after 10 months of avodart an 2 months of spironolactone(oral),this also tells me that there is no stopping this ,i have even had heavy shedding periods when starting the avodart which i thought may be a good sign,but obviosly not,if the hairs were falling out and they were not thinner at the root ,i would still have a bit of hope but i know that there is nothing i can do,i would like to thank people like IBM,SEAN68, and others you have supported some of my views and i am grateful for this,now i have nothing but misery,asnd i had so many plans

i know what you mean they do look goodbut i have a enough hair not to look that bald at the moment but i am very self concious and would always be paronoid that people would think i am wearing a hair piece

I'm with Newbaldy, at many times I wanted to give up, but I just can't...it's not in my blood. I just go back and try to find an alternative....somethings gotta work.

antonio666 before give up the meds go to the Doctor and make analysis about your testosterone, DHT and estrogens levels and post here. Then evaluate.

i understand you might be paranoid but after reading lots of testimonials about toplace pieces they are extremely natural looking and they are attached very well,really unless someone walked in on you removing it youd never ever be found out to be a wearer

if you have some hair left then go for a partial,if its mixed in with ya natural hair then itll be even more safe

if you can get at the very least get by with a piece til HM or a better solution comes out youll be good to go
just dont give up man!

Yeah I know how you feel, I'm getting enough of this whole treatment crap already. Nothing is working and only giving me sides and I'll just go balder and balder. Well, that's life... gotta work it out some way. I'm not the only 25 yr old who is facing this.
