FRICKIN YEAH.

As I wrote my follow up yesterday that I thought a year ago that at this point I would have lost the battle and either have had a DODGY HAIR TRANSPLANT in asia or embrace being BALD and have a whale of a girlfriend but you know what i'm looking at the mirror and i'm f*****g 22 again.

next target: 17 again

So to sum all this up with timeline, back in 2011 is when I started noticing thinning.
Long story short I experimented with minoxidil, propccia, ell Carnell (17α-estradiol/alfatradiol), saw palemtto, pumpkin seed oil, nizoral, dermaroller, scalp massage, Revita shampoo, Regenepure Shampoo, Castor/emu/essential oils over night, Alpecin caffeine leave on and shampoo, grapeseed extract, asthaxasin, magnesium oil, bunch of different omega 3 oils and bunch of supplements as I mentioned on my earlier posts back in 2011-17. Whenever I experimented something I made sure to test it for no less than 6 months, so I’d stock up for at least 6+ months and see what it does. I also tried nicehair.org method and it was purely waste of time, he was the inspiration for the useless natural approach and me spending money and time on all these vitamins. oh well.

Anyway so April 2015 is when I dumped the naturals and switched to 1mg Propecia ED & AM/PM Kirkland minoxidil +Ell cranell (Alfatradiol 0.025%) + Nizoral shampoo 3 times/week + dermarolling once a week. I managed to keep most of my hair, yet no major regrowth or any regrowth, but I was able to maintain most of my hair.

By May 2017 my hair took a major hit and by september 2017 I decided to QUIT propecia/minoxidil/alfatradiol, and either get a transplant or try something else. then I decided to give it one last chance and heavily research hairloss which took me a few weeks, then mix bunch of things as a last option before getting a damn surgery in turkey, which to me is scary as hell having to go through it, plus I was afraid of getting anesthesia, and watching hair transplant surgeries on youtube didn’t make things better. Also it’s darn obvious when someone gets hair transplant of any kind, and the hair keep on shedding afterwards anyway, so that would buy me a couple of years, then I’d have to go through it again, or hope there will be a cure by then by follica or tjusji, so these were my concerns anyway.

By October 2017 I mixed the following with the help of my buddy who’s a pharmacist, since some were hard to get and also I have no idea how to mix ingredients properly, making sure I do everything right etc.

5% minoxidil, 2% ketoconazole, Tea tree oil, rosemary oil, panthenol, cayenne powder, 1% hydrocortisone (only on the every other day bottle), 0.1% retinol
properlyne glycol, ethanol, sorbitan stearate, inositol, isoproplisate, lanolin, glycerol, sodium sulfite anhydrous, polysorbate 80, styryl alcohol, cetyl alcohol and purified water.

Castor oil, rosehip seed oil, Azelaic acid were things I added after a long long time, and I don’t contribute my success to. I grew hair without these ingredients so I don’t find them necessary and will drop them when I run out of my current batch. Retinoids are good for the face but many mixed opinions on forums make me doubtful and paranoid about using it as well.

I don’t know much about the other materials on the list but they’re used for penetration and prevent the topical from going bad.
I might add alfatradiol or RU in the future. Not sure they would do anything or are necessary for me at this stage though.

I didn’t wanna use hydrocortisone every day, so 2 different mixtures were made, one with hydrocortisone which I use 2-3 times a week and another one with all the ingredients not including hydrocortisone for twice a day use (I’d put it first thing on the morning, and before bed)

Right after shower I lay on my bed face up, with my head hanging off the edge of the bed pointing the floor so you can feel all the blood rushing into your head, then I stab all over the balding areas on my head with my fingernails for a couple of minutes, and as a result my scalp gets red and feels like there’s proper circulation getting on there, then afterwards I rub on the topical.

And I still dermaroll once a week. I don’t apply the topical to my head on nights when I dermaroll. I tried once and it burned, but I actually think that’s a good thing. Anyway the pain was intense for me.

*On May 28th 2017 I started drinking a mixture of licorice root/peppermint/green tea and Ceylon cinnamon which I mix in a jar - I take it to fight teeth sensitivity/cavity and it’s beneficial for well being in general. I suspect these herbs are beneficial for sebum reduction and also lower DHT levels. Do your research, but it absolutely didn’t do any harm for my hair. I mix a spoon of each in the kettle and drink once or twice a day. It’s dirt cheap as well. I take it mostly for dental health, as I had sensitivity chewing on my right side, and this solved it completely, so I highly recommend if you got tooth ache.

*On June 22th 2017 I started drinking 10-15ml of flaxseed oil a day and make a smoothie of frozen broccoli/berries mix every morning. It’s worth mentioning as these things might be good for hair. My shedding definitely decreased and I’m not tripping, I really think flaxseed oil is beneficial, just keep it in the fridge as it goes rancid if not refrigerated.

I smoke around a pack a day and work in a very stressful environment, two things that are extremely bad for hair and skin so my results could be even better without those two factors

And last thing I want to say is that I’ve read probably thousands of messages over hundreds of threads on here and other forums and there seems to be a common issue with a lot of people experimenting treatments and they quit too fast either because there are no results visible in few weeks or there’s an increased shedding. I still experiment shedding but I’m happy as long as I see progress. At this point I can style my hair easily and not having to worry about wind and rain revealing thinning hair and baldspots.

i regained my hair and confidence again. it's unbelivable how important hair was for me.

Thanks for reading and best of luck to all

EDIT:
I received many requests both via private messages and on the thread for the topical to be made, now the pharmacist agreed to make the topical as can be seen here: https://www.hairlosstalk.com/intera...-look-at-my-change.115473/page-6#post-1699842

Hey, I'm Jacob's friend, he asked me to come over here.

I formulated him the solutions for his request, I was able to get a hold of all the ingredients that he wanted at pharma grade through my work (I work for a big drug company as a production adviser that is pharma compliant) and produce them in a way that will allow maximum penetration and bio-availability with minimal chemical reaction between the ingredients and solvents, to my best knowledge.

How many of you are interested? If I see there is a reasonable enough demand I will make it for you.

Any of you who are interested message me at my email Yoni.Be@protonmail.com

I am wondering what in your concoction works well considering you were using Finasteride+Minoxidil already and were not getting results. Maybe the hydrocortisone really helped you and your hair loss.was heavily immune system oriented.

What is TTO?

Surprisingly legit regrowth tbh.
Really wonder what in your made this happen for you. Looking at your concoction you'd think it's the minoxidil but since you already used it previously with finasteride then probably not. Or maybe the retin-A enabled better penetration for the minoxidil.

Studies do not show tretinoin to be a huge game changer. Nor are any of the ingredients in that concoction big game changers. Maybe the topical keto and leaving it on+the hydrocortisone helped the most.

Yeah for sure, I wouldn't really expect any of these to ingredients to even maintain. Maybe it is the keto eh, I've been using keto cream myself for two months. Hasn't brought anything so far.

cortisone I've been using on my skin for years. Time to put it on scalp also I guess.

Ask here so I dont have to repeat myself, others might find it helpful too.

Hi

Okay i just wanted to know if there is some science behind your regime? What is your diet like specifically? Anything you really think helps? Also what are the side effects/if any?

Could your buddy record how he mixes everything together and maybe upload it on youtube? Also, where do you get all your ingredients (specifically the less common ones)?

Yes there is evidence I will post links on here later for the studies made. You can see on the italian doctors pages people are asking specifically for some of these ingredients to be formulated for their hairloss, but a. I don't live in italy b. the prices are insanely high.

I consume every day flaxseed oil and frozen broccoli/berries in a smoothie. 5 weeks ago I switched from low cost men multivitamin to these multivitamins (nature's way alive! and paradise herbs oracc green energy) and 2 months ago I started drinking green tea/peppermint/licorice tea daily. doubt the tea mixture does anything, but I take it for my teeth health.

I don't distinctly remember when and where, but I found a couple of studies about licorice and castor oil that said licorice was able to reduce total testosterone levels in male models by 40% or so, and castor oil is an agonist of PGE2 and antagonizes PGD2 as strongly as setipiprant. Of course, dosage matters.
Also, flax seeds, licorice and mints contain xenoestrogens.
But I don't think anything is strong enough to treat androgenic alopecia.

Cheers big time bruv for the detailed reply. Is your topical in a glass or plastic bottle? did you massage it into your scalp or just let it sit? when you used the minoxidil in the past did you massage it in or just let it sit? do you have the male pattern baldness itch/tingle? thanks mate

First, congrats. Second, are you 100% sure you were using legit minoxidil the first time around?
I'm 100% sure as it was ordered through their amazon store: https://www.amazon.com/Kirkland-Min...wth-Supply/dp/B002VLZHLI?th=1#customerReviews
And there was a period that I also used rogaine foam as an addition to the kirkland, also from amazon.

I don't distinctly remember when and where, but I found a couple of studies about licorice and castor oil that said licorice was able to reduce total testosterone levels in male models by 40% or so, and castor oil is an agonist of PGE2 and antagonizes PGD2 as strongly as setipiprant. I drink licorice root to fight tooth cavity naturally and it seems to work really well, some african tribes use it and salvadora persica to clean their teeth. It decreased the sensitivity in my teeth, and apparently it's also good for hair. But I haven't taken it long enough to say if it did something for my hair.
I see castor oil is used in some nizoral and other shampoos so figured it won't hurt to have it in the mixture.

I don't think it matters, but I use a glass bottle with pipette. during the first months into the regime I used a plastic bottle with a sprayer, no different imo.

I always massage and you should too, again after shower when hair is still wet I'll go to bed, lie with my head upside down and press everywhere on top of my head and temples firmly using the fingernails for 2-3 minutes and then apply the topical and tap in into the skin with my fingers, I don't massage in circular motion to avoid pulling hairs.
Regarding itch, I experienced itchy scalp but not constantly, it would come and go. But what I noticed and that's a big one, is that my hair on top doesn't hurt when I brush through it with my hands, before I used the current regime it would hurt, like it's being pulled, while the hair on my sides/back never gave me that sensation. My hair on the top is definitely strong now and I'm pretty positive I will be able to restore my hair loss to where it was when I was 20 (7 years ago), it was only a matured hairline really, but amazing density and thickness. 18 years was the stage when my temple hairs got thinner and wouldn't grow long like the rest of the hair.

wish me luck!
