I Can Only Afford Finasteride Or Minoxidil For Now. I'm Mainly Hopeful For Temple Regrowth.

I'm 20 years old and I've noticed temple recession since about last December. I'm not exactly sure when it started as I've never paid attention to it until now, but I still had a juvenile hairline june 2016(graduation pictures) so it's definitely less than 2 years whenever it started anyhow. https://imgur.com/a/sbtIR This is what it looks like. I only have about 800 in savings right now and I have a prescription for finasteride at Costco, which will cost around 14 a month. Unfortunately I don't think my mother is going to pay for it so I have to pay for it on my own and I will need to be able to afford it for at least a year. I'm not really noticing anything on the crown, and my main concern are my temples which I'm hoping to regrow(this is where I believe minoxidil comes into play from the various forums I've read up on). Considering this, should I go for finasteride for a year or minoxidil for a year? I should also mention that I'm considering dermarolling.

That's the idea but there are circumstances that don't belong on this forum preventing that. That's why I only asked which should I get for the time being.

Go for finasteride mate. Minoxidil doesn't stop the actual balding process. Stabilize your hair loss with finasteride, and when you are at a better place financially opt for minoxidil. Good luck
