I Bit The Bullet Today Guys. Started Finasteride..

i have had a prescription of finasteride for 4 months now. just havent taken it due to fear of side effects... finally bit the bullet today. started a microdose of .25 mgs. gonna take .25mg every 3 days for the first 2-3 weeks. than up it to .5mg.. Does your hair loss get worse if you were to quit finasteride? like does it cause a increased sensitivity in your scalp to dht after you quit?

Nobody can answer this question, in science it's not documented enough, i saw a study somewhere about something related but can't remember where or how, maybe if i will find it i will link it here for you, but no one can predict such a thing, you will just have to try it and see for yourself. The only thing that could possibly have a strong chance of happening is a shed, considering that mostly everybody agrees that every hair loss treatment that has a chance to work, starts with a shed, synchronizing hair cycles or disrupting them. Monitor it and see for yourself, it's not like you could do something else...

Just start bro... started a week ago and don’t even think about it anymore. if you want you can start at .5 and work up to 1. Rn I do .5 every day and some days I do 1. Just depends on how I feel. I know it’s probably all placebo since studies show it’s the same effectiveness but it makes me feel better .

So far, So good.. Although its only been a day.. 0 Side effects.. Feels good to be finally doing something about it too.. I see so many men here with BDD taking finasteride, thinking that their balding with juvenile hair lines.. Makes me feel like an idiot not taking it, being a nw1, thinning to a Norwood 2.5 at 22

Yeah man. Not a single issue. On the first day I had ball ache but it vanished instantly. No shedding, nothing so far.

Dude don't count the days, just take it and move your mind on your life, live it like your not taking finasteride, if something ever happens you will know for sure this way what is the cause. Don't psych yourself by overthinking it, your gonna give yourself nocebo or you will get sides and won't know if it's from finasteride or from something else. Monitor your hair with at a couple of months pics and that's kind of it...
