Hello I'm 34 and have been battling hair loss for the last few years things have got really bad now and there's not much left up top I wear a hat in work constantly, have turned down a promotional because i would have to work in the office and couldn't wear my hat in there I have a real fear of people seeing my hairloss I look okay with the hat on and I know a couple of women in work like me but if they saw me without the hat they would not fancy me anymore I know it is crazy but I can't come to terms with it I was not bad looking with hair I noticed the hairloss was getting bad 4 years ago so shaved it off as soon as I looked in the mirror I regretted it I really looked terrible my wife came home and was a bit shocked I could tell she didn't like it she left me 6 months later the hairloss was a major reason I believe she now has a new boyfriend with a full head of hair I see no hope for the future because I really look awful without hair most of my money goes on my kids I have 11,000 of debts and no chance of being able to afford a hair transplant I would of ended my life a couple of years ago but have carried on for my children everyday is a battle though and silly as it may sound to some it is all down to hairloss

You have a few options.. get in shape, grow some stubble, wear glasses. Get SMP, go tranny drug mode, start dermarolling with minoxidil. Whatever it takes do it.

A woman leaving you for a bald head is like me leaving a woman i love because her breasts got saggy due to age or anything similar and stupid.

It is great that you have carried on for just your childrens sake, it makes me glad to read.

Hairloss can really take toll of someone, and it doesnt sound silly that you are depressed due to hairloss. I admit that i myself look really ugly fully bald with no beard, but when i grew a beard, i felt like people gave more attention to my beard than my bald head, making it as a weak substitute for having headhair but it took many years before my anxiety about it disappeared.

As someone who balded at 17, i have been experiencing the anxiety and i dont have much advice. I just endured, tried a beard and got myself a new job that accepted the beard. It took me about ten years to accept my baldness, TEN. Endure, think about the great things like your children, and try find a new job or ways to look better while bald. It will take a long time maybe. But we baldies are here for you:)

I have to say that some women are indeed not interested in me due to my hair. Its usually the low educated ones, that works on beautyshops, makes a living on Instagram and expect men to pay them.
But the positive thing is that many highly educated women looks at my beard rather than my hair. And that is the type of woman i prefer.

Think of it all this way- we aren’t here forever. This life isn’t permanent. We all die one day. In 100 years none of this shit will matter. So why not just live man. Stop giving a shit. It’s the only way. You care more than anyone else does trust me.

Why upset? You already defeated male pattern baldness as you successfully had children. Like me, you cheated nature and won, and your genetic line carries on. There are many men here who start balding young and will never get that chance to have a family. Your life should be devoted to your children now, as this is a stage that all men will eventually get to in life. Take that promotion! You are right on track to further your career and provide the best opportunity for your children now. In the future, you never know what cure might come out either.

I see you're on finasteride. How long have you been taking it and has it done you any good at all?

We all know how bad it can get but one thing's for sure: panic doesn't help.

I started going bald when I was 17 and back then there was no internet and zero information. I panicked and had suicidal thoughts but God is good, I found out about Proscar and it worked.

My advice is very simple: do A LOT of research on this subject. The more you know about hair loss, the less stressful it will be.

Thank your hair loss for ridding you of such a shallow wife! I am, of course, sarcastic but there'sa grain of truth in that. The good news is that you are in your 30s. Women in their 30s (except the shallow ones) begin to be less and less affected by hair loss. Reasearch and try remedies but don't putt all of your eggs in the same basket. Start working on your overall appearance, learn about about dressing sharp, get and stay fit, be confident and be a person for yourself first of all. Be what you want and can be and don't dream about unattainable goals. Killing yourself is the easy wayo and, in your distinctive case -you have kids- it would be such a cowardly way to leave your kids in this cruel world just like that.

It’s genetic, trying to cure it is like trying to cure being short.
