I am 31 is this start of male patten balding are a cowlick?

I’m not much of an expert but I reckon we’ll need pictures of your hairline as well as temples to make a proper judgement.

From what I’m seeing I don’t think you have anything to worry about but I could be wrong.

Good head of hair. It does look like there is some maturation or slight miniaturization on the left temple if you can see the hairs that are just below the hairline. However, this may just be normal maturation. You are not currently receding or balding, though. Just try to relax and keep an eye on it every couple months.
