Hello everyone would you guys say I have the onset of male pattern baldness? I cut my hair short, so my friends have been asking me why would I care, but the thought of losing what I have on my crown is really worrying me, this of course is even more counterproductive. I wouldn't really make a fuss if I was in my thirties but at only 23 i'm just so worried. I cut my hair today hastly, so some longer strands of hair may still be there. Family history includes most males on my father's side being bald, none on my mother's as far as she can recall. thank you guys. I can't tell if I'm a norwood 2 or 2.5

cant tell from that picture but I say it looks fine. Trust me when your 40 you will care just as much as you do about losing hair it doesnt magically go away with age.

Well the older you get the more common it is for the age. My hairline has almost stopped receding since high school and I am made fun of less because it is now a more acceptable lifestyle choice lol. Anyway it kind of looks close to a NW2. As it gets longer maybe you can notice miniaturization. Have you looked at old pictures and can confirm that you have less than before? and have you considered starting a treatment?
