Hi,
I wanted to share my hair-growth journey and hopefully give someone else a little hope.
I’m new to this forum and just joined today. I’ve attached a PDF with my before-and-after photos and progress for anyone who wants to see the full transformation.
Putting these photos together honestly got me a little emotional. A few months ago, I was constantly looking through hair-loss posts for motivation and reassurance that things could actually get better. Seeing other people’s progress reminded me I wasn’t alone — and that there was still hope.
If you’re dealing with hair loss, you are NOT alone. Depending on your situation, there may still be a lot you can do.
I’ve been extremely strict and consistent with my medications, supplements, and especially keeping my scalp healthy. I purchased various scalp-care products and have been very consistent with my routine. I genuinely believe maintaining a healthy scalp and overall hair health helped create the best environment for my medications to work to their full potential.
Hair Medication Timeline
As of August 26, 2026
Oral Minoxidil — 2.5 mg/day
Started: February 22, 2026 — 6 months, 4 days
Finasteride — 1 mg/day
Started: May 3, 2026 — 3 months, 23 days
Current Regimen:
• 2.5 mg oral minoxidil daily
• 1 mg finasteride daily
• Daily Vitamins/scalp rub
• Daily Shampoo
• Derma Stamp 1x per week
I’m still early in the journey, but the difference from where I started to where I am now has been incredible.
Stay consistent. Take care of your scalp. Give it time. Don’t give up hope.
